On top of being a designer and maker, Oliver Piepereit trained up in the art of French polishing and contemporary wood finishing, specialising in period and Mid Century Modern Restoration & Refinishing. Commissioned refinishing and restoration work is carried out at his Cotswolds workshop based in the picturesque village of Blockley, Gloucestershire.
The restoration and refinishing process allows for the piece of furniture to be revived and reinstated to its former beautiful appearance whilst following conservation procedures. Appreciating the artistry and craftsmanship in each piece of furniture makes the job of restoring a piece even more exciting and most therapeutic.

The consultation period allows Oliver and the client to decide on the process and how to finish the piece of furniture in the most sympathetic way possible. Each piece Oliver works on is different and deserves a fresh outlook every time.
