Mid Century Restoration

If I had to work on one style of furniture every day it would most definitely be Ercol. As a furniture maker I can really appreciate the craftmanship gone into each and every piece that has come out of the Ercol workshop over the years.

This particular piece was crafted from Elm with strong figurings which was and is a trademark Ercol look.

Once in the workshop it was stripped, neutralised, sanded through the grades, grain filled and finished in a satin osmo hardwax oil to replicate the spray lacquer factory finish.
