Bespoke Media Centre
As you’ll see in the imagery this is a very unique commissioned piece of bespoke fitted furniture. After a site visit to survey the Cornish cob walled building, I had a really challenging task designing and fitting a piece of functioning art.
The middle section had to accommodate a gigantic television but also have ample storage around the media centre. The exposed wood is solid oak and the moisture resistant MDF is sprayed stiffkey blue by Farrow and Ball.
The client adored the local Cornish landscape and had previously conquered the south west costal path in its entirety so had a free role creating the cliff and seascape on the oak boards across the doors at the bottom of the structure. One of my most challenging but rewarding projects to date.
The hand stained geometric design is my unique selling point which you’ll see throughout my recycled furniture.
